They love to climb. Providing the proper UVA and UVB is essential for their happiness and for them to thrive. Medium-strengthened UVB is the most important for their overall survival. Especially being indoors and depending on what kind of enclosure you decide to keep them housed in. Keeping their lights on for at least 11 hours a day during the winter months and approximately 13.5 hours during the rest of the year. The Zoo Med XL Chameleon Habitat is actually an excellent tank for this guy. He loves the current one which is very similar. A 20-gallon tank is a great size for an anole and they seem to enjoy tall tanks. You can feed this adult every other day, rather than every single day if you believe they eat too much. Misting them will help keep them hydrated! Even if it is with a proper spray bottle they can receive the water intake. Their nighttime temperatures can fall to about 65 degrees while during the day it is best to keep their heat between 75 to 80 degrees. A temperature controller will help you keep proper track of the temperatures and lessen the worry of any issues.
