Tegu Diet

Tegus have a huge appetite and will literally eat you out of house and home, but just what really is it that they can’t get enough of? Growing between 4-5 feet at adulthood, tegus are known in the reptile world for their enormous appetite. Baby tegus for sale start out small enough to be kept in a fish tank, but eat a lot. Then when tegus reach their juvenile stage, they eat the most they ever will. Finally with entering the adult stage in a tegus life, the tegu slows down as well as its appetite. Tegus enjoy live and frozen mice, tons of crickets, fruits and other inverts.
