For baby tortoises, the habitat can be reasonably small.  Say somewhere between 2 and 3 feet wide by 2 and 3 feet long.  But by 5 years of age you will need to provide a larger habitat.

A lot of owners have an outdoor habitat for the warmer seasons (depending on where you live of course) and then also a smaller indoor option for colder seasons.  People who live in warm states like Arizona, Florida, Texas, etc will not require much for an indoor option unless their goal is to keep their new tortoise indoors of course!

Sulcatas have sandy, ivory known as the ivory sulcata tortoise or ivory sulcata tortoises, or golden yellow-brown skin.  Secondly, you will find two or more very large and prominent tubercles (or spurs) on the rear legs.
